One 55-gallon barrel
Four 2x4s, each 8 feet long
One 2x6, 8 feet long
Wood glue

Instructions:

1. Prepare the barrel. Cut the top and bottom off of the barrel. Then, cut the barrel in half lengthwise. You will now have two barrel halves.

2. Assemble the frame. Cut the 2x4s to length as follows: two pieces at 6 feet long, two pieces at 4 feet long, and one piece at 2 feet long. Assemble the frame by attaching the 6-foot pieces to the 4-foot pieces with wood glue and screws. Then, attach the 2-foot piece to the center of the frame.

3. Attach the barrel halves to the frame. Apply a generous amount of wood glue to the inside edge of each barrel half. Then, clamp the barrel halves to the frame. Make sure that the barrel halves are flush with the top of the frame.

4. Reinforce the frame. Attach the 2x6 to the back of the frame, flush with the top of the frame. This will help to reinforce the frame and prevent it from sagging.

5. Sand and finish the table. Sand the entire table with sandpaper to smooth out any rough edges. Then, apply a coat of polyurethane to the table to protect it from wear and tear.
